Wolf Ecology and Conservation-certification Weekend
Friday–Sunday, August 18–20, 2023 • Cable, Wisconsin
Each year, the Timber Wolf Alliance holds a Wolf Ecology Weekend. This hands-on, highly-sought-after program is an excellent opportunity to learn more about this widely-misunderstood species.
Whether you feel like you already know a lot about wolves or are just starting to learn more about them, this workshop will benefit you. You’ll be taught by wolf biologists and educators that are immersed in this field, and attendees have the opportunity to meet requirements for conservation-related certifications.
To deepen our shared learning experience, we’ll also get out of the classroom and head into the field to dive into surveying wolf pack territories and howling surveys.
Because of the breadth of topics we’ll cover, this workshop meets the ecology requirements for being certified as a volunteer for carnivore tracking and wolf howl surveys. You’ll also have the option to join the Timber Wolf Alliance’s Speakers Bureau.
Workshop fees include meals and all workshop materials. On-site lodging is available for only $40 for the entire weekend.
We hope you’ll consider joining us!
