Team Birkie athletes headed to Italy

We are excited to announce that two Team Birkie athletes, Erin Bianco, and Renae Anderson, have qualified to represent the USA at OPA Cup Finals in Toblach, Italy!
Athletes qualify for the OPA Cup trip through strong performances at U.S. National Championships or based on their ranking on the U.S. Ski & Snowboard National Ranking List (NRL), which considers an average of their performances throughout the year. Erin and Renae’s series of top-10 SuperTour finishes throughout the year earned them this opportunity!

The OPA Cup is one of the FIS Cross-Country Continental Cups, a series of international competitions just below the World Cup. The OPA Cup is a circuit similar to the U.S. SuperTour for athletes living and competing in the alpine countries. Located in Toblach, Italy, OPA Cup Finals provide U.S. athletes with a valuable development opportunity to experience World Cup courses and adapt to the demands of high-level international competition.
Our goal is to support athletic excellence and competition opportunities that come as a part of the journey, and we invite you to be a part of it. We need to raise $4,000 to cover Erin's and Renae's trip expenses by March 15th, 2023.
You will receive a Team Birkie hat as a thank-you for donating $50 or more. You will also be entered into a raffle with prizes from the Team Birkie founding partners: American Birkebeiner Foundation, Central Cross Country Skiing (CXC), and The Loppet Foundation. Three winners will be chosen to receive one of the following prizes:
-Complementary 2024 American Birkebeiner entry + a start-line parking pass
-Complementary entries to City Trail, Trail Loppet, and Loppet Festival Events (Classic Marathon, Skate Marathon, Loppet Challenge, or Fat Tire Loppet) plus ninety minutes Small Group Ski Technique Lesson (up to 4 people) by coach Piotr Bednarski (classic or skating, on snow or roller skis)
-$500 Rudy Project gift card on a select group of CXC products
