Latest grooming update - Great effort under most challenging circumstances

Happy New Year! from the North End Ski Club.

Big day of grooming:  All 18km of the North End system were groomed today. It was a productive effort and we were successful in mitigating some of the effects of the warm-up and making good improvements on the Tony Wise. Both trails required multiple passes to renovate the trail surface, remove old tracks, and set new tracks. Warm conditions followed by freezing temps are challenging when grooming with light equipment, which is why it takes multiple passes. Although we only worked on 18 km of trail, three groomers traveled a total of 60 km today, factoring the multiple passes to get 'er done
