FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
REGISTRATION OPENS FOR THE ANNUAL MUDRUTTERS OFF-ROAD MTB RACE
The annual Mudrutters Off-Road Mountain Bike Race, featuring Ashland’s very own Farm Road Trails, is open for registration. This year's race is once again on Bay Days weekend, hosted on Saturday, July 15th, 2023.
The race features Farm Road Trails for a family fun ride with a mix of single track, double track, gravel, and mixed terrain. Three categories of race are available for entry: the Tender Mudder, Tough Mudder, and Insane Mudder. The Tender Mudder is an Easy/Beginner 7-mile race for beginning riders and racers; the Tough Mudder is a course for experienced mountain bikers at 13-miles; and the Insane Mudder is a notoriously grueling and challenging 15-mile course. There is currently no category for e-bikes. Free lunch for all racers will be available on-site, as well as bathrooms and water.
The race will launch from the parking lot of 400 Salem Drive, Ashland, WI (the Salem Church) at 10:00am. Pre-registration is available now until Thursday, July 13th at https://www.bikereg.com/mudrutters-off-road-mtb-race at $25 per racer. On-site registration will be held 8:30 to 9:30am at $30 per racer for cash or check to Aaron Swanson (owner of Farm Road Trails).
Swag, lunch, after party, and awards ceremony will be held in the parking lot at roughly 12:30pm.

ABOUT FARM ROAD TRAILS
Farm Rd trails started as a project of hobby or habit and our love of being outdoors and exploring with an off-road bike. Started in 2005, it's a network of trails, both primitive and purpose built, on the south end of Ashland city limits. Closing in on its goal of 10 miles, the trails are for all levels of mountain bike riders. Groomed during the winter for fat biking! Mountain bike trails open when the mud dries for all to explore and enjoy. Follow Farm Road Trails - MTB & Fat Bike on Facebook for trail status, work days, maps, and more.
