Parade line up is 10:30 a.m. (specific spot yet to be determined but look for us on First Street)
Parade starts at 11:00 a.m.
We need you and you and you, well as many as we can get – with decorated bikes (or not) and celebratory apparel for the holiday. Be sure to wear your helmet. Young and old, men and women, fat tires ands skinny – all are welcome.
The plan is to amaze and astound the hundreds of parade viewers with our ability to spontaneously ride in clock wise circles, figure eights, counter clock wise circles and any other formation we dream up on the spot.
A special addition will be the adjacent “float” consisting of the Cycling Without Age trishaw from the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital piloted by Gary Crandall with his soon to be 100 year young mom Dorothy as the passenger.
After the parade we all head to the Town of Cable park for the picnic, pie, fun and games.
