Grooming Update-HASTA Trail

SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2023. Despite that date, this report is no joke! 5 of the 7 loops were tracked this morning. The tracks look very good, maybe the best of the year.

Groomed and Tracked: Lakeview, Buckthorn, Pine, Beaver Pond, Ox and the Boulevard up to the farthest Beaver Pond entrance.

NOT GROOMED OR TRACKED: Clear Cut and Hilly loops. The Boulevard is groomed only up to where the Beaver Pond loop comes back in.

I want to thank Steve Boss for stepping in two Saturdays ago to do the tracking.

You are good to ski today but starting tomorrow, Sunday, April 2, please plan your ski to end by 11am. We will be seeing mid 40 degree temperatures nearly every day which makes for lousy skiing and will destroy the tracks for future mornings.

Also, today was probably the last grooming that will be done on Hasta trails this season. It's been a challenge but the skiing has been pretty good. Most of us are ready for some warm weather and snow-free activities.
