An Afternoon of Chamber Music for Your Father’s Day Celebration
The Garland City Players will bring an afternoon of chamber music to Cable Wisconsin on Sunday, June 18 at 2 p.m.
The concert is hosted by and will take place at the Cable United Church of Christ, 13445 County Highway M, in Cable, WI.
Performing will be Tiffany Darling, soprano; Andrew McInnes, violin; Neil Paynter, piano; and Jaryd Traaholt, piano.
Everyone throughout the community is invited to hear the works of composers such as Georges Bizet, J. P. E. Hartmann,
William Hurlstone, and more.
The Garland City Chamber Players are a chamber collaborative with a focus on energy, interpretation, and high musicianship
The concert is an opportunity for the whole family to listen to some well remembered classical music as well as being introduced to some new pieces. Music series organizers say to all, “Come and hear chamber music live and in-person. We don’t get a chance like this so close to home very often.” The program will be from 2 to 4 p.m. A freewill donation will be taken to help promote the group’s musical work.
Earlier in the day The Players will perform one chamber music piece during regular Sunday 10 a.m.worship at the U.C.C. Church. All are welcome.
The Cable United Church of Christ venue offers a space with good acoustics and a baby grand piano to enrich the musical experience. There is additional seating in the connected Fellowship Hall. Ample parking is available in both the church parking lot and Cable Community Event parking area off Randysak Road, a stones’ throw from the Church.
